Nestled just a stone’s throw away from Hartebeespoortdam, Hennopspride is a true hidden gem that we stumbled upon while scrolling through Facebook – and what a discovery it turned out to be!
Reminiscing on my childhood visits to resorts with my dad, one thing always stood out: the sheer excitement of hurtling down waterslides and super tubes. Imagine my delight when I discovered that Hennopspride boasts an impressive array of waterslides and pools, catering to every age and thrill level.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and the soothing sounds of cascading rivers just beyond the resort’s perimeter. The presence of vigilant lifeguards added to the sense of security, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day to the fullest.
Saadiqa had a blast splashing around in the kiddies’ pool, complete with an adjacent playpark and gentle waterslides perfect for youngsters aged 2-6. Meanwhile, Fathima Zahra, our little daredevil, eagerly tackled every slide within reach – a true waterslide aficionado in the making!
With its convenient proximity to Sandton, our day trip to Hennopspride was a resounding success. We’ll definitely be returning for more aquatic adventures and family fun in the near future!
