This situation with Oupa is really taking its toll.
To see him suffering at his age is just heartbreaking.
The test results confirmed stage 2 cancer. Even though they managed to remove everything, there’s still that looming possibility of it returning. So now, there may be the possibility of the doctors recommending treatment.
But, here’s the thing – it’s not our call. It’s ultimately up to the doctor to advise him, and oupa to make the difficult decision.
It’s such a tough spot to be in – wanting to help him but also grappling with the fear that treatment might make him even sicker.
