Hubby has this habit of latching onto ideas and not letting go. A while back, he decided he wanted to try earwax candles. Now, I’ve tried them myself, and while I’m not convinced they’re a miracle cure, I’m not dismissing them either.
One day, I found myself in Dischem and decided to grab the earwax candle kit just to see what the fuss was about. Back home, hubby couldn’t contain his excitement. We set up in the room, got him comfortable, and lit up the first candle.
The expression on his face was priceless. He looked a bit uncomfortable but soldiered through like a champ…ha! By the end, he was eagerly anticipating the reveal of what came out of his ears.
The verdict? He said it was pretty awful. I resisted the urge to say, “I told you so,” but let’s just say I had a hard time not saying it.
