For the past two weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of the oh-so-regal Prince Snowflake while Fathima Zahra has been in Newcastle, visiting her dad. And let me tell you, having him around has been pure joy. He’s become my little shadow, waking me up with gentle nudges in the morning, craving some attention. His nightly routine of calling us to bed has made our home feel even cozier.
But now, as the time for Fathima Zahra to return draws near, I can’t help but feel a twinge of separation anxiety myself. Prince Snowflake will go back to sleeping with her, and I’ll miss his warm, purring presence beside me.
This got me thinking—could it be time to adopt another kitten? I mean, one is great, but surely, two would double the love and cuteness, right? There’s something about the energy a little furball brings into the home that makes everything feel… complete.
I never imagined I’d become so attached, but here I am, seriously considering bringing another furry friend into the fold. What do you all think? Is one kitten enough, or should I open my heart and home to another?
After all, there’s always room for more love, right?
