Book Review: The Last Comic on Earth by Max Brallier

I’m not even upset, honestly. Why, you ask? Because Max Brallier’s The Last Comic on Earth has completely captivated Fathima Zahra, and I can’t say I’m mad about it.

Let me paint the picture: this morning, instead of getting ready for school, Fathima was glued to her book, eagerly flipping through the pages because she “couldn’t wait to see what happened next.” And really, what more could a parent want than to see their child totally engrossed in a book, especially one that offers as much excitement and adventure as The Last Comic on Earth?

Max Brallier has once again created a world that has our kids on the edge of their seats. Fathima’s excitement isn’t unusual when it comes to a Brallier book, but this one seems to have cast an even stronger spell. With its gripping storyline, engaging characters, and the usual dose of humor, it’s no wonder she couldn’t put it down.

Thanks to Jonathan Ball Publishers and Jonathan Ball Kids, Fathima always has an amazing selection of books to dive into, and The Last Comic on Earth is just another example of how a well-crafted story can ignite a love for reading. It’s heartwarming to see her so invested, and I’m thrilled that this series has sparked that joy for her once again.

If your kids love action-packed adventures with a side of humor, this is a must-have for their bookshelf. Trust me, once they start reading, they won’t be able to stop either!
